No, I'm not saying anything about the thread starter personally, but it made me want to say this:

If you don't like something, and the only reason you don't like it is because it's too mainstream, that doesn't make you different. It doesn't mean you have more of a personality than people who like whatever it is. It just means you're a douche who's concerned about what people think of them, just like everyone else.
